You’re a great friend

By Laurel on January 23, 2011

I hope everyone had a fabulous Sunday. I am sure most of you are watching football games while I type this post, but I honestly could care less about football. I wish that wasn’t the case! It would be so fun to watch the games with my husband, but nope. I just fall asleep! I did manage to squeeze in a few minutes of crafting in today… I played along in the Play Date Cafe Color Challenge and the CardPatterns sketch challenge. I used all Hero Arts on this card!  Cling Dots and Sweet Wonderful You,  I colored cute little Suzie (what I like to call her) with Copics and used lots of Tim Holtz distress inks over the layers to tie into the color scheme more….  The green polka dot strip is fabric tape…. And of course, a little Glossy Accents to the hair accessories. Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to stop by the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog! Case Kelly Marie and win a free stamp set! How fun is that!

Awww, she’s so sweet with her cute little flip-flops (which I am so ready for)! I love the glossy accents on her hair clips too. So great to have you playing along again at the Play Date Cafe.

No football for me, either, Laurel! I love Suzie and your subtle use of grey, green and orange. Sweet card! Good luck with the challenges!

CUTE! That little girl is just adorable. Need to find it … my son’s fiance always wears flip-flops. This would be perfect for her. TYFS

What a great take on both challenge, Laurel! Isn’t she cute?! LOVE the shape of the paper you’ve put her on and that scrumptious, glitter paper! Fantastic take on this week’s color story! Thank you so much for playing with us, this week, in the Cafe!
