I came across this fabulous stamp set in Joannes and just had to have it!
I LOVE coffee! Flavored coffee. Peppermint Mocha by Coffeemate during the holidays is my absolute favorite. I stock my freezer with them! No typo. I freeze them so I can get longer use out of them…
I am down to my last one I am sad to say. Have to go back to Hazlenut… Sigh.. Nothing competes with the Peppermint Mocha. Anyway, I am getting off point.
That inspired me to make a card for my husband…. There are so many cute sayings and stamps on my set, but I had to choose one, and this was appropriate for the mood I was in tonight. Kind of a goofy one…. I even am patting myself on the back for “distressing” the edges…. It is a little on the plain side, but hey people, give me a break. I am new at all of this! 🙂
Next, I made my mother-in-law a card for Mother’s Day! I had a hard time finding a stamp set. They have some great ones at Papertrey Ink, but as usual, I waited until the last minute and did not have time to wait for the snail mail. In between my morning playdate and the park, I was able to put this together. I am not 100% happy with this one. Using scallop scissors are not my strong suit. I can never cut even and it always tears up the paper as I cut, but I did what I could.
And lastly, I made a post it note holder for my mom… Because everyone uses post its, right?!? Seriously, I don’t really, but I may now that I made TWO. I may give it away, I may keep it for myself. Who knows. All that is left is to get some of the little golf pencils and a stickie pad…. But here is what I have done so far.
And here is the inside:
