Christian and I had a nice date on Saturday night, until we went to the see the movie we chose. Indiana Jones. SO DUMB. Sunday we decided to get to work on some projects… When I say “we”, I meant Christian.
He fixed the lock on our fence, cleaned the gutters and fixed the weed eater while I planted a few herbs and trimmed back some of our plants, all the while Lucas was playing in his little pool, splashing here and there having a good ole time.
Today we are going to Lowes (10% off for active military) to purchase a grill, a storage box for all the outdoors toys we are accumulating on what seems to be on a daily basis, herbs, plants, paint and then off to the Mattress store to get a twin mattress for Lucas…. I will be spending the afternoon painting the twin bed we bought off of Craigs List (20 bucks) and getting ready to begin to transition him into a big boy bed… I will also be planting my herb garden and a few plants I need to get to fill the spaces where other plants have died…. Just finished shopping via Upromise for mattress protectors for all of our beds. A nice 3% cash back towards Lucas’s college fund thanks to Upromise and Target… After a fun filled day of misc. projects, we will be topping the day off to some homemade ribs courtesy of Grammie and Papa!
