I recently saw a card by Mariana Grigsby posted here (2nd card) and loved the background she made with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and heat embossing so I just had to give it a try. I paired the heat embossing up with Practicing Creativity’s For the love of dots. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out.
I stamped the pumpkin and leaf images from Lawn Fawn’s Harvest Season. I colored the pumpkin with Copics and the inked the leaves with distress ink and then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I tried to tone down the orange card stock (I am just really not a fan of orange I am sad to say) with more Tim Holtz distress ink. I made this card for the Wee Memories challenge this week, which is a clean and simple card. Clean and simple – just my style!
I stamped the sentiment on the inside of this card.
Thanks for stopping by!
