This is my second post of the day. If you are looking for the Karber Blog Hop post, please scroll down! 🙂
Happy Saturday! You know what that means! It’s Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge time! And we’ve got a fun challenge in store for you this week!
Your challenge this week is to create a project with a ‘spring’ theme (flowers, birds, trees, butterflies, etc) or ‘green’ theme … (green colors, things that are green, etc.). Anything that says Spring or green to you!! Sound fun? Check out our terrific sponsor this week, Annabelle Stamps!
I had the pleasure of working with the adorable Lil Bee’s Big Flowers set! Perfect set to make a Spring card with, don’t you think?!? Here is what I made for this fun challenge:
I paper pieced the bunch of flowers and colored the adorable bee with Tim Holtz Distress inks. I added a little perfect pearl mixture to the bee as well, but it’s didn’t capture well in the photograph!
I hope you will play along this week! Head on over to the Wee Memories Blog and check out all the creations from the fabulous Design Team and play along with us! You have until Friday, March 18th to get your entries in! And be sure to check out our wonderful FLICKR GALLERY to see all of these creations and also discuss paper-crafting, challenges, and more. 🙂
Supplies:
Stamps: Annabelle Stamps Lil Bee’s Big Flowers set; Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Patterned Paper: Papertrey Ink Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Inks Other: Perfect Pearls mist, Spellbinders Nestabilities; Copics
