A longtime friend of my husband’s got married this past weekend! Wedding bells were ringing across the country! We couldn’t attend but I did make this card for her. I pulled out a stamp set from one of Lawn Fawn’s earlier releases called Happily Ever After and stamped the image onto a circle die cut from the Stitched Circles Stackable die set and colored the images with Copics. The banner strip is from the Bannerific die set. It’s a great universal die set that can be used with the sentiment sets you already have. They have a coordinating stamp set to go along with it, but I didn’t use it for this card as I used a sentiment in the Happily Ever After set.
I decided to stamp the background image with Versamark ink to get the tone on tone look. The silvery sparkle circle? I die cut the Stitched Circle Stackables circle with some glitter paper. I like this particular glitter paper because it doesn’t rub off. I despise glitter getting all over my hands, lol. And lastly, I sprayed the entire card base with some sparkle spray before adhering the other layers.
It’s Saturday! It’s the weekend! Tonight, me Husband and I are attending a fundraiser with college friends so it should be a good time for all! Looking forward to getting out for a few hours.. Which means, at some point I’ll need to get out of my PJs! 🙂
