Hi there! I’ve got a thing for black/white, but lately, I’ve been wanting to throw some gold in there too! So how about we do it all on these tea cups? I heat embossed the teacups with this gold embossing powder and used the black color from the Gansai Watercolor tablet (any black watercolors you have will work) and paired it with the Metallic golds from this Finetec Metallic set. Metallic watercolors. YUM!
This is very unlike anything that I’ve watercolored before, and to be honest, I didn’t like it at first. But now it has grown on me…. The golds are shiny so it really goes well with the black… And I like the “messy” watercolored look as well. There really isn’t much to this card. It’s pretty simple. Watercolored panel mounted onto a black card base, but I went ahead and filmed the card for you all anyway. Most of it is is soothing music as I watercolor….
