Hi there! Today I have two cards to share with you today using both the Plus One and Born Classy stamp stamp sets from The Ton Stamps. For my first card, I stamped the man and woman onto some watercolored cardstock and colored them in using my Mission Gold watercolors. Then I created paper masks by stamping the images onto some masking paper and fussy cut (they also have coordinating dies to go along with these stamps set – see supply list at the end of this post).
Once I placed the mask over the images to protect them, I stamped the Folk Art Cling Background stamp in Versamark ink and heat set in ROSE GOLD embossing powder. Then I applied a wash of watercolor (I used the Mission Gold watercolors), removed the mask when dried and adhered the Fabulous word die – isn’t that script fabulous – no pun intended? Finished it off with, yes you guessed it, some black flicks using my favorite black texture spray.
My second card features the same focal point images but this time I fussy cut them out (got the dies later) and paired them with the Grand Stairway Background stamp. Again, I used the Mission Gold Watercolors. Now look at the dress. I love how this set incorporates different images to create totally different dresses. The feather tail of this dress.. SWOOOOOON!
See you next time!
Oh, to have a figure like that! Oh well, love the background in the first card and the coloring is amazing in the second. Thanks for sharing.
Ooo, la la!! These are gorgeous, Lauren! I totally love that staircase & dress in the second card, Sistah!
