Hi there! I’m back today with another card and video. I have been wanting to stamp this hydrangea for ages! I absolutely love how big and bold it is! And the coordinating dies rock too! I created the background with a stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop and some distress inks. I used both the Clarity Stencil brush and Ranger blending tool.
I added some Perfect Pearls over the top of the flower to add some extra shine! For a little surprise, I added some polka dotted patterned paper to the inside of the card. I hoard all this patterned paper and I have no idea why. I hardly ever use it. Shame on me.

Such a pretty card! You make it look so easy.
your card is lovely – that hydrangea is one of my favorite stamps – and loved hearing you say you don’t design with a plan – whenever i have a plan it doesn’t seem to ever work out anyway – guess i should just not bother with the plan:-)
I love your WATERcolor style! So simple, and the paint does all the work. Your videos are great, too.
Happy Mother’s Day! I’ve been dying to use this stamp as well. This is the stamp set I picked when my name came up as one of the winners of their release blog hop. Now I’m thinking I may need to try and get the die too. Love your card. I’m usually trying very hard to translate inspiration into my cards and then getting frustrated (haha, just like my work – I have just cleaned up another translator’s mess) but I’m trying to become more relaxed and simply play. My new SOA box arrived this Friday and last night I simply started by stamping out all of the images of the colouring book set and started colouring using the coloured pencils that were on the dining room table…
Great card!
