Hello everyone! I am so pleased to be back with the folks at The Foiled Fox sharing a couple of watercolored hello cards featuring the Snowy Perch stamp set by Penny Black. I stamped the image two times onto watercolored cardstock with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with Hot Chocolate embossing powder. This deep brown embossing powder instantly became a favorite of mine that I will reach for often. I also did some watercoloring on both cards with the Gansai watercolors.
I kept my watercoloring within the lines on this card and then ran the panel thru my die cutting machine with THIS die cut to get those diagonal lines.
My next card I went wild with the watercoloring by using very little water so the colors would be bold and this time I didn’t stay within the lines. Then I ran my card panel thru my die cutting machine using this Grid Cover-Up die cut. It cuts out all the squares for you. 🙂 (Tip: Label your squares before popping them off the panel. Otherwise, it will take some time piecing the image back together, ask me how I know, lol)……
I popped each square up with some foam tape to add some fun dimension to the card and then added a word die cut to finish it off……
If you’ll remember, my last guest post with the Foiled Fox featured a giveaway! It’s time to announce the winner! $25 shopping spree time! Congratulations Kristie!
