Wanna Hug

By Laurel on December 12, 2019

I’ve got a couple of cards to share with you today using some goodies from the latest Catherine Pooler release!!! Everything I used in the cards are linked at the end of the post just for you.

First up… Succulents….. Well, that’s the stamp set theme but I altered my stamp and turned the succulent cups into COFFEE MUGS! I mean… can you even……

Took a Black Le Pen, drew in some handles and accented parts of the design on the cup and voila!

Next up, a fun background paired with florals… I took some tape and masked off the white cardstock before stamping the background stamp! I did that so I could fit a sentiment in the gap!

Masking is a great way to extend those background stamps you might have laying around.

So whatcha think? You diggin’ this release?? Let me know in the comments!

How clever, love them as coffee cups. I really like the sentiments in this set. For some reason, I’m not a fan of the southwest look but you made it look less “southwest” and I like how you used the background stamp by masking off a section for the sentiment!
