Wanna hang out?

By Laurel on February 24, 2011

Today’s card was supposed to be a quick and funny card. I got my We R Memories Keep Stitch Piercer Tool today so I wanted to try out stitching on my card. Now, I don’t sew. Never have. Never will. But I did want the option of doing some easy stitches on my cards from time to time. This is definitely a work in progress and I have to use it again to give a fair review of the product. So far, it didn’t work as easily as I had hoped. I had to go in again and re-punch 60% of the holes with the needle (hence the back of the paper showing thru. A person familiar with sewing would have known to pierce on the opposite side)… I even bought the pink mat thing to go along with it. Again, first time using it. Perhaps I just didn’t press hard enough. Perhaps my card stock is too think…. I’ll definitely try again. Thanks to Simon Says for the fun challenge (use coffee and cream in your project).

Supplies:

Patterned Paper – Cosmo Cricket (Nutmeg)

Lawn Fawn’s Harolds ABCS (sentiment) Wilson Design’s cute owl set (branch)
