Vintage Birthday card using part of packaging box

By Laurel on November 7, 2010

Hello! I was exciting about this card because it is something I have only done one time before a LONG time ago and it is something “different” for me. I started out by trimming a piece off of my Amazon box. I get Amazon deliveries ALL THE TIME so these boxes really pile up…. I stamped  the text using Hero Arts Friends Definition cling stamp on the cardboard and then peeled away some of the edges. I distressed the edges of some patterned paper and then stamped the image directly onto the paper. I paper pieced some of the coffee cup and distressed the entire image with some Tim Holtz Distress Inks. A finishing touch was adding stickles for some froth. I hope you like it! Kind of different for a birthday card I know. No cupcakes, hats or candles!!

Challenge: Wee Memories

Stamps: Hero Arts Cup of Coffee, friends definition cling stamp; Lawn Fawn Hats Off To You(sentiment); Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg Mini deck; Stickles; crinkle ribbon (Etsy); Tim Holtz Distress Inks; Versafine Onyx Black ink; stickles
