*Video: Raised Inlaid Die Cutting – Hibiscus Layering Stamp Set

By Laurel on May 27, 2018

Layering Stamp Set + die cutting = something fabulous! Today I’ll be using the Build a Flower Hibiscus Stamp Set, Catherine Pooler Inks and a fabulous word die cut to create this card. Did you know that 99% of my card bases always start off white??? They never end staying that way, lol.

To see how I create this card, you can watch the video here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE!

I love the look of the layered hibiscus, the sparkle from the embossing powder and the raised dimension from the die cutting. I’m no expert with layering stamp sets, but this is another one that is super easy to line up. You don’t need a stamp positioning tool to use this stamp. I don’t know much about flowers other than the ones I have in my yard, so I used the layering guide on the packaging to guide me…

The next photo really shows that dimension and shine…… And check out the white peeking thru in the layers! Yup, love. Confession: The hardest part of this card for me was layering the die cuts. Using fun foam surely helped or I would have had to layer it 10 times!!!! Tip: Use black fun foam or color white fun foam with a marker….. It creates a lovely shadow behind your die cut if you don’t line it up perfectly.

Thanks for popping by with me today!! I’ll see you again real soon! :):)
