Partial Die Cutting is a really easy technique and a great way to stretch out your dies. Let’s face it, dies are expensive!!! Today I have a very easy video tutorial showcasing how to do some partial die cutting. I’m using the Faithful Flutterings stamp set and the NEW coordinating die that just released today! Partial die cutting is a fun way to get a dimensional look on one layer without the addition of foam tape or bulk.
You can watch the video here on my blog or my clicking HERE to head over to my youtube channel and watch in HD (and check out the other videos I have over there while you are at it, lol).
It’s fun to have the wings of the butterflies hanging off the page! And this layering stamp set (which if you know me, you know layering stamp sets freak my freak) is VERY easy to line up! I paired the butterflies with this gorgeous stencil and Catherine Pooler inks (exact colors are linked below in my supply list for you).
If you give some partial die cutting a try for the first time, I’d love to see it!!!!!!! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by today!
