Hi there everyone! After just visiting Connecticut and seeing about a billion Dunkin Donuts, I thought it was time to share this card and video, lol! I’m using new products from the latest release from The Ton Stamps. You can watch the video right here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD!
Here are some still photos of today’s project! 🙂 Notice the shiny embossed donuts on the cardbase and the donuts on the green painted panel look hand drawn… I used The Doughnut Party cling background stamp for both panels and Doughnut Bar and Let’s Mingle for the sentiment. As I do most times, like in this card yesterday and today’s card, I love to start with a white background and add my own color. This time, I used distress paint and distress ink to add color.
I used the Iron Off embossing technique to remove the embossing powder from the donuts! I did this because I didn’t want any shine from the embossing powder on my green panel AND it makes it possible for me to stamp the sentiment right onto the panel. If I had left the heat embossed images there, I couldn’t have stamped over it as the embossing powder would have resisted the ink! 🙂
So that’s about it!!! You know, the next Stamp of Approval is coming soon!!!! I’ll be here with loads of projects in less than a week! See you then!

Cute card. Great ironing technique.
Hi Laurel ~ LOVE this card…such a fun one and the colors are right up my alley! I don’t iron either so keep my iron in my craft room. Thanks for sharing! ~HUGS~
