I was honored to have been asked to participate in this video hop hosted by the sweet and fab (and 17 years old) Laura! I serve with her on the Simon Says Stamp Design team and I was always blown away by her talent. Then I found out her age was even more blown away!!! She is a fabulous watercolor artist, so I decided to do some watercoloring on my project inspired by her…
Now this is a VIDEO HOP! So you’ll need to head over to my youtube channel and watch the video and in the description you will find the link to the next person on the hop. Comment on all of the hopper’s youtube channels (not individual blog posts) to be entered into the drawing for the prizes!!! You have until 6/7 to leave the comments. Lots of prizes too! I mention them at the beginning of my video!

I can TOTALLY relate to you stamping the detail 1st, LOVE your “watercolour” stamping technique for the background of the flowers too – YES, I NEED to try it – LOVE your splatters too!!! TOP TIP with colouring the stripes, tucked that away because I KNOW it will come in handy 🙂

Thanks for the tip about how to make the patterned paper background color more coordinated with the water coloring. Great idea.
