Die Cutting Distress Inks Ellen Hutson Giveaways Stencils/Masks Techniques Videos

*Video* Hinged Thanks Die Cutting Demo and GIVEAWAY

Hey there everyone! I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of the Hinged Thanks die from Ellen Hutson. I think it is absolutely brilliant and I have begged Julie to create a series of hinged word dies!  Last week, I shared this blog post and card and received a lot of emails asking for a quick demonstration! Your wish is my command!!!  This card is very similar to my last card (boring I know).  I just used distress inks instead of Copics and added a little stenciled background. I kept the design the same because many of you asked me too!   I love it so much I bought an extra to give away! More on that in a bit.

There are many ways you can use this die. Some of the other designers cut up the die to form different words with the letters. Others created different orientations of the word… Brilliant!!!!!  Let’s take a look at the video, shall we? You can watch it right here on the blog or even better, over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE!

See how the letter pop up a bit??? I LOVE THAT! The die does not cut thru the letters. It creates a score line to the left of each letter so you can create the hinged look. You can pop up the letters as much or as little as you want. It lays flat so it will go thru the mail with no issues or extra postage (fist bump).

GIVEAWAY:  I love this die so much I bought an extra to give away! There are three ways to enter using the Rafflecopter below. You can pick one, or do all three! Some earn more entries than others! 🙂
