Hello! Long time no see! I am trying to get back into the swing of things and created these two cards and filmed a video! I am using some new products from Catherine Pooler. I did a little masking, ink blending, stamping, die cutting, scoring, lol……. I was very rusty so it took me a while to create this, let alone edit all the nonsense out of the video!!!! LOL.
Speaking of video, you can watch the video here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE!
The first card took the longest because I’m so rusty! But I do love the way it turned out. As I was stamping inside the doily, it got a little too busy for me…. I never go n with a plan. I just go with the flow. So instead of trashing it, I managed to salvage it. I die cut the large doily die with masking paper, adhered it to some card stock and did some ink blending – ALL SUPPLIES I USED ARE LINKED BELOW.
The florals are from a new stamp set called Tilly’s Magic Garden designed by Lydia Evans, a new illustrator to the Catherine Pooler store! I inlaid the hello die to break up the pattern I created with the floral images and as a result, I was left with a beautiful “hello” piece to use for a second card….
My second card uses the beautiful hello die and that’s it! I paired it with some new cardstock and added some score lines to the background. I popped up the hello die with foam dimension (that was the hardest part, getting the foam dimension in the small areas of the hello) and that’s it!
I love the pattern on the hello die.
Be sure to check out the video to see how I created both cards!!!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Laurel ~ Glad to see you here my friend. Your cards are gorgeous and whether you realize it or not you have not lost your touch at all! Love how you’ve taken the Hello die cut from the first beautiful card and created a CAS second card. Oh, so lovely and the second card is perfect for a masculine birthday card too.
