I have been a long time fan of Gelatos and pairing them with their Glass Bead Glitter Gel and a gorgeous skyline stamp set from The Ton resulted in something really sparkly and fun! Gelatos are so fun to use and are calorie free, lolololol!
I also have a video to go along with this card! You can watch it here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE!
I’m used the new Iridescent Gelatos in my project. They are on their way to retailers but most haven’t received them just yet. You can achieve a similar look by using regular Gelatos and coating them with the Glass Bead Glitter Gel if you wanted to try it without having to wait for the stores to get them. I know patience isn’t my virtue. Ask anyone!
Just look at that texture and shine!!! That’s mostly all from the Glass Bead Glitter Gel! 🙂 The skyline set has some other images on there so you really create a fun scene! In the video, I show a couple of different techniques you can do with gelatos and water! I also fiddled quite a bit with the water until I got the look that I wanted, 🙂
One thing I did want to point out, I know I am a broken record, anytime you use Gelatos, I strongly suggest you prime your card base with Gesso. Gesso works as a primer and creates a smooth surface making the Gelatos blend easily and perfectly!!! Trust me!!!!
Alright, you’ve had enough of me today!!! I will see you next time! Thanks so much for dropping by! 🙂

Love the video! I have watched your playlist to learn how to use my Gelatos, and kept telling myself I needed Gesso. This has been over a year ago and I still haven’t bought the Gesso. I try and like you say, they do not blend well without the Gesso. Thank you for your reminders. I love listening to you when you work with Gelatos.
Wow! This is stunning! Now I need the glitter gel!
Hi Laurel ~ Your video is fantastic (love that you’re always laughing) and the results of the Gelatos combined with the Glass Beads Glitter Gel are simply outstanding. You’ve turned me into a Gelato junkie and I’ve shared my habit with my daughters too. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring. Have a wonderful weekend. ~HUGS~
