Hi there! Today I am here to share with you another card and video using one of my favorite stamps of all time. The Peony Cling Background stamp by The Ton. The Ton launched earlier this year and I instantly fell in love…. Their couture line of stamps are just gorgeous! And they have evolved and released coordinating dies and super cool guilding (sequins, beads, confetti, etc)! HELLO! I’ve got two cards to share today. One took literally under 60 seconds to make (think mass production or oops, I forgot to make a card for this event I’m 30 minutes late for already)….
Let’s start with the sparkly one……. As I mentioned in the video, when I first saw this stamp, I thought it would a perfect stamp to stamp on Vellum, heat emboss with some glitter embossing powder and color with Copics! And a few weeks ago, Effie (owner/designer of The Ton and proud to call friend) sent me a card and it was…. Yup! Vellum, Copic and Embossing…. So this card is a spin on what she sent me and what I had envisioned in my mind… Her card is hanging up in my craft room. LOVE IT! Kept mine sentiment free so I can use this for any occasion. (TIP: When I adhered the vellum down with the multi matte medium, some of the vellum did crinkle a tiny bit. Next time, I will immediately put something heavy on it to keep that from happening)
For the second card, I wanted to show you that Versamark doesn’t always have to be about heat embossing! It is a great ink pad to create a watermark or tone on tone image! Simply ink up your stamp with the Versamark, stamp and walk away! It’s that simple! All I did was stamp a sentiment (from the It’s Cray Cray stamp set) and round the corners…

Thank you SOO much for stopping by today! I hope you are having a great week! It’s hump day!!!!

BEAUTIFUL!!!
I’ve not tried colouring vellum before, looking forward to trying it soon, THANK YOU for your tutorial & inspiration Laurel 🙂
Wow!! The gold embossed vellum is so beautiful!!!!!
Do you ever find that when you stamp on colored card stock with versa mark and don’t heat set it with clear embossing powder, it fades out? I made several backrounds without embossing them, and when I came back a couple of days later, I could barely see them.
