It all started with the upcoming Online Card Class, watercolors for cardmakers. I instantly signed up. Then I decided to break out all my water color mediums and start practicing and playing to prepare myself for the class. I know just the basics of watercoloring! I can’t wait to learn more!!!! So I made these 6 cards using the different mediums. I even filmed the results of each of the cards…. I asked in the video if anyone wanted to see videos of how I made them and to my surprise, many of you did! So, my first video went up yesterday showcasing the Inktense Watercolor Pencils and Distress Ink Refills… Today’s video/card features the Koi watercolors by Sakura!
This one is so fun to do, and EASY to mass produce! You can bypass stamping/embossing the sentiment and create the watercolor panels… Then when you need a card, you can stamp the appropriate sentiment then…. A good way to prep yourself for a card you need quick!
Here is the original card I made using the same watercolors from my original post….
These watercolors are so fun! I love the colors, the combination of colors you can create by mixing them together and the palette plate included in the kit! I show you both this and the watercolor wheels in the beginning of the video and talk to you a little bit about each of them and my likes/dislikes….
Now on to to the video! You can watch it here or over on my youtube channel in HD! As aways, thanks for stopping by today! 🙂
