Using your scraps to create a card video

By Laurel on May 20, 2015

If you are anything like me, you have lots of leftover scraps of cardstocks and patterned paper! I made a project last week and set aside the scraps and finally got tired of looking at them on my desk.. So, I turned them into a card. All the colored card stock and die cut images were made from my scraps.

I adore the Be-You-Tiful die from Ellen Hutson designed by my friend Julie Ebersole! She is amaze balls! If you don’t follow her, I ask you.. Why not? LOL! She is incredibly talented and she has an infectious laugh! Watch her videos, you’ll see!  I added some sparkle and shine to the card by heat setting the die cut after coloring it with Copics and also adding some Wink of Stella over the colored strips… I added some pattern onto the colored strips, but I almost wonder if I should have kept it without.. Hmmm.

I’ve got a video for you today showing you how I made this! You can watch it over on my youtube channel in HD! And if you don’t already, I’d love it if you subscribe! 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by today! 🙂
