Tomorrow I leave for CHA! I am just finishing up my last load of laundry and then I can get to packing. I had to make a few cards for my mom to give Lucas while I am gone. One I showed you yesterday. And here is todays! I used The Twinery twine and then heat embossed the adorable alphabet set from Lawn Fawn in black. I colored the sentiment with copics and then applied Rock Candy stickles over the top for sparkle to really draw in Lucas’s eye to my sentiment, because I will miss him SO! The top embossed detail was done with the scor-bug device and my scor-pal.
I hope Lucas will like it and will have fun while I am gone! It goes without saying I will miss him like crazy! Please say a pray for safe travels for me and everyone who will be traveling to and from CHA! And rest assured, I will share lots of pictures with all you so it will be as if you were there with me!
Supply list:
Yummy yummy twine! 🙂 so cute, I like that you kept the background white so the lollipop & sentiment could really pop!
This is so gorgeous and colorful! Lucas is going to love it. Have a great time at CHA! I can’t wait for all your updates!
hmm this card seems delicious, because you make something yummy there. Very clever use of twinery to be eyecathing of lollipop. Moreover the text is also as colorful as the color of lollipop, make it sweeter..
Safe travels Laurel! Have fun, meet new talented ladies, take photos and try new products! Being in USA, for the summer CHA is a memory I will treasure for ever! Wish I could come for the winter to meet you in person! Enjoy my friend!!!!
So, so sweet of you to make these cards for him while you will be away… :)this one is perfect for a child!

That card looks delicious! I can’t imagine trying to wind that baker’s twine though. I would have made a mess of it, myself. LOL
I am sure that Lucas loved this card, who wouldn’t!
