Tropically Yours Stamp of Approval Release Day

By Laurel on July 18, 2018July 18, 2018

It’s release day for the Tropically Yours Stamp of Approval Collection. This amazing collection is on sale now to those that weren’t on the wait list, but hurry because it will sell out fast! StampNation members and those on the wait list already received their purchase links first thing this morning.

I’ve got 3 more projects to share with you today! First up, Flamingos!!!! I cut a circle to create a mask and adhered it to my card panel. Then I blended on Party Dress, Coral Cabana, Bellini and Limoncello ink to create that gorgeous inked background. When I peeled up the mask, I was left with a perfect white circle to stamp my flamingos in. I added a tiny bit of shading to the flamingos with a gray marker.

To finish off the card, I stamped one of the border images from the Good Vibes border set in Midnight ink.

My next card features the same stamps, but this time I added googly eyes to the flamingos and hand painted in grass using a dry brush and Lime Rickey and Eucalyptus ink. The sky? Aquatini of course!

To soften up the images some, I stamped them in Black Jack ink. When the card was finished, I sprayed it one time with water to get all the inks moving a bit and make it more of a watercolor look.

My last card features the Tropically Yours stamp set!  I first ink blended the background with Daydream and All that Jazz Ink. Then I stamped the trees using Eucalyptus, Lime Rickey and Spruce. The trunks of the trees are stamped with Icing on the Cake.

I added a bit of gold my stamping and heat embossing in Metallic Rick Gold embossing powder. And lastly, some flicks of water to finish off the card.

That’s it! I hope you’ll grab this collection!!!! The add ons available are linked below in the supply list as well as all the ink colors I used for today’s cards!!! Have an awesome day!

What fun! Makes me want to go to Bonaire to see the flamingos (a juvenile flamingo walked by me just four feet away from me when I was there! Thrill of a lifetime!) and go snorkeling!

BEAUTIFUL!! Especially that last one, makes me want to jump into a nearby ocean. Your flamingos are stately and then silly. Always great to have fun with your stamping…
