Today is the day! I can finally squeal!! I am so excited to share with you what I have been holding in for months!!!!! Lawnscaping Challenges is born! The idea of this unique challenge site was created by our love and passion for Lawn Fawn stamps! We have got a FABULOUS Design Team and a whole slew of fabulous guest designers lined up. We are soooo excited!!!!!!
On the first and third Monday of each month, Lawnscaping will inspire you with unique themes that will challenge you and get your inspiration flowing! But what’s a challenge site without prizes! And FABULOUS prizes there will be. But we decided to go a step further to sweeten the pot. Each time you participate in a challenge, your name will be automatically entered into a drawing and at the end of the year, there will be a HUGE prize to one lucky participant. The more challenges your participate in, the more chances you have of winning! Don’t you want to know what the prize is?!? You have to wait, just a little while longer. But, it is HUGE!!
Our first challenge was inspired by the winter season. Many of you have awoken to a thick blanket of snow on the ground. Not here in Florida! A few days ago, everyone was getting all excited because there were snow flurries. So they say…. It certainly wasn’t anything that stuck to the ground or could be photographed, but here in Florida, that is all it takes for us! 🙂
And my take on the challenge:
I paired Lawn Fawn’s Winter Bunny and Frosties with Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls Mist and my Spellbinders Nestabilities. I found some fun textured patterned paper in my stash that resembles snow and applied a thin layer of Stickles (Rock Candy) over the hill tops and on the bunny and sled. And of course, I had to add a cute little jingle bell the bunny’s collar…
So let’s check out this week’s prize, shall we?
We hope you are as excited as we are! Please help make this challenge site great! Play along and spread the news! We can’t wait to see what you create!!!
