Hello! Hello! I dove into my fear of shakers again and this time, I think I came out on top! This is the first shaker I have made where the insides don’t fall out all over the place or go up my nose, lol! I am using products by The Ton and that amazing die is from Avery Elle. All of the products I used in the shaker are linked at the end of this post….
I heat embossed those gorgeous florals from the Simple Florals stamp set with gold embossing powder and then colored the images in with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Instead of using clear plastic for my shaker window, I chose to use to use this awesome 43lb vellum instead. I added the Round Confetti, Star Confetti and gold flat sequins (all from The Ton) and sealed everything together and guess what? Nothing fell out!!!
Want to know the absolute hilarious part of this card? You see that purple background panel inside the shaker? That actually came from my trash. That was a watercolored heat embossed reject BUT I used it in the shaker because the vellum provides that soft overlay so it turned out not to be a reject after all. LOL!
Thanks so much for joining me today! This week is a busy week on the blog. Lots of sneaks of the StampNation California Vaca and a fun video hop coming up in a few days (with a discount code for all my readers)…. Stay tuned!

Nice card; I like the use of vellum to soften the look.
