Textured beach sand and mermaids. What’s not to love???? I’m using the just released Inner Mermaid stamp set and coordinating die. The sand??? It’s the Brutus Monroe Sandcastle embossing powder. It is full of amazing texture and doesn’t rub off! The mermaid tails were heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Mermaid Lagoon embossing powder. I watercolored the images and background with Gansai Watercolors.

Love the stamp set and the embossing powders are fabulous! The combo and the card layout are perfect! Question: Sometimes I find when using colored embossing powder it smudges into the water color or markered portion of the image, if I color after embossing. Did you watercolor first or were you able to emboss and then color inside the raised edges w/out smudging?
I love the colors you used on this card. I gotta have me some of the sand embossing powder!
