Hi there everyone! Today I am here with my first first design team post for The Crafter’s Workshop. I pulled out one of my first stencils I ever purchased, the Aspen Tree stencil. I used the stencil and some different texture and crackle pastes to create the background.
You guys know me and you know I LOVE COFFEE! Naturally, I paired a few coffee themed images with the background! HE HE! The bear holding a ginourmous cup of coffee?!??!? HA! Hey, have you guys had the Frosted Coffee from ChickFilA! OMG! It’s delicious. Try it! You’re welcome. Seriously! NOM NOM…. 240 calories people.
I have a video to go along with this card! You can watch it here on the blog or over on my youtube channel in HD by clicking HERE!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Crackle looks neat on cute card…great technique and video.
Omg! Laurel, this card is amazing! I love the colours in the background and the bear drinking the coffee -genius. CONGRATS on your first post for The Crafters Workshop. It’s a winner. ☺ Though you realize, don’t you, that we’ll expect this genius all of the time! ?
You are such a hoot! I love your videos cause you make me chuckle and who doesn’t like to chuckle… I really like the sentiment on this coffee card and the bear image is so cute.
Congrats on joining TCW’s DT! I *adore* their stencils!! Here’s a tip I saw somewhere recently on solid dies that works brilliantly! Cut out the shape on a scrap piece of copy paper then line up the negative space over your stamped image. Once you have it lined up correctly, drop your die into the negative space and run it through your Big Shot again to cut your stamped image. Works great! I hope that makes sense! LOL
CONGRATS!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of that Paste/Crackle!! it really resembles Shaved Chocolate!! =) THANKS for sharing the Video too!! You ALWAYS make me SMILE!! Have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)
Hi Laurel ~ I have this, and other stencils, from The Crafter’s Workshop and absolutely love them. Congratulations on joining their DT!! Love this card, especially with the crackle. Totally awesome!! Thanks for sharing. ~ HUGS ~
