Today, I participated in the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! It was fun layering, which is something I do not do often! I tried to layer more, but my mind got the best of me…. Here is the sketch challenge and my submission (click each picture to enlarge):
I just fell in love with the ink embossing folders technique (click here for my other card using this technique and a direct link to the tutorial) so I did again! Used a pair of scissors and just snipped each corner of the DP. Dry embossed the edges of the card using the mini provocraft embossing folders…. Am I getting better, worse or staying the same?!? Hmm.. I wonder….. But whatever I am, I am having fun doing it!
Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink Everyday Button Bits, On My Couch (sentiment) Ink: Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream, Seascape Other: Cuttlebug, embossing folders, kraft mailing label, Papertrey Ink Vintage Buttons, clear embossing powder, heat embosser
this is awesome, great job with the Sweet Sunday Sketch!
enjoy *~*
Love this sweet card – the colors are perfect! I haven’t tried the inked embossing folder technique yet – I’ll have to give that a try. Love the look of the clouds 🙂
