Sweet Stamp Shop NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP

By Laurel on June 6, 2012

HELLO! And welcome to the Sweet Stamp Shop NEW RELEASE blog hop! We have two new sets to show you today so I hope you are having a great time on the hop! If you came to me by way of Laura then you are on the right track!!!!!!! If you get lost along the way, NO WORRIES! Head on back to the Sweet Stamp Shop home page for the complete hop list! The full reveal of both sets will be at the end of the hop!

I love both sets, tremendously! But one will be a staple for me and never leave my craft desk! I  can use it on EVERY SINGLE PROJECT!!! I am sure you will guess what it is because you can use it on every single project you make too, no matter what that project is!

I had so much fun with this set!  We’ve got adorable stamps, watercolor crayons, stickles, copics, gesso, glossy accents….. FUN FUN FUN! The moon was texturized with gesso, the rocket was colored with copics, the little alien was colored with water colored crayons, after which I applied some Picket Fence stickles and the sentiment strip was created with the watercolor crayons (a video on those soon)…. Love the white stars on the black card base, don’t you? Here is a close up:

And now a sneak at the second set… Here is the back of the card:

HA HA, there are several sentiments to choose from, but this one is one of my favorites! It cracked me up when I read it is and it just sounds like something I would say…. I took some distress ink and water and did the water flicking method to create the background here. And a close up:

Next on the hop is the fabulous Stephanie! Make sure to leave comments along the way because I am sure there will be prizes to be won!! 🙂

Loved this card. THe use of the gesso really made the moon stand out. SO cute and the “Don’t Trash this card” is so stinkin cute. I ‘d use it on all cards. Love it.

Although I love the front of your card…the back is wonderful. I love the sentiment (of course) but the splatter technique really makes it special. Thanks for sharing that idea!
