Stencil flower using lots of Hero Arts and distress inks

By Laurel on November 28, 2010

I am in LOVE with this stencil flower from Hero Arts. In love! I used a lot of Hero Arts stamps on this card so I’ll note them in a supply list below…. I played along with the Cupcake Creations Color Challenge and the Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge. The color palette from Cupcake Creations is GORGEOUS! And Wee Memories challenged us to use ribbon. Now you all know I CAN NOT tie a bow. Absolutely, positively can NOT! So I crinkled up some fabric tape instead… Red gingham fabric tape to be exact. Delicious. I love the houndstooth background. I stamped it in versamark and wiped off a bit before stamping to give it a distress look.

Supplies: Hero Arts (large stencil flower, Houndstooth Background, Friends Definition; Lawn Fawn (Sophie’s Sentiments), Glossy Accents, Tim Holtz Distress Inks; clear embossing powder, Fabric Tape

You can’t tie a bow? Good use of ribbon though, unique! This is one of my fav stamps too, great card!
