The latest Ellen Hutson release had a couple of stand alone die sets that I just HAD to have! This first card features the Starry Night Background die. I like how the stars are two different sizes and strategically scattered, leaving open space at the bottom to add your stamped images, etc….
I watercolored a panel to create a galaxy like sky and then die cut it with the Starry Night Background die. I stamped some images from the Mountain Holiday stamp set and added some snow accents with the Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard. The skier also has some sparkle to her thanks to the Nuvo Shimmer Pen. Picture me. Skiing down a mountain with this gorgeous sky in the background. Yea, you can’t – because I don’t leave the bunny slope and even then, I’m likely falling.
The next card features the Star Trail die. I kept this card simple by using some patterned washi tape as the background and the cute little snowman from the Snow Buds stamp set. How fun would this be to mass produce a bunch of backgrounds and create a fun card set featuring different images and sentiments!
