Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Wednesday Challenge Group Blog Hop! You should have arrived here by way of JO! I’ve got 2 projects to share with you today! But first….
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember®” event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, life documenting, art journaling, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.
To celebrate the 4th annual Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event, we’re ‘hopping’ along sharing some great projects featuring the new STAMPtember® product releases! It’s one of the biggest releases to date and features new stamp sets, dies, flair and stencils!!
I have pretty much bought ALL of the products because I simply couldn’t choose. In my opinion, this is the best release yet!!!!!!! You can go HERE to see some some of my absolute favorite items from all the various categories to get your juices flowing….
We’re so excited that you are here to celebrate with us and hop along in this special challenge group blog hop. Once you’re done ‘hopping’ please head over the our challenge group blog to participate in this weeks challenge: Celebrate STAMPtember® with us by using ANY Simon Says Stamp product on your project! 😉 As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
Alright, onto my project! As I said earlier, I’ve got two projects to share… I couldn’t make just one… To start, I wanted to do something other than a card. Gasp, I know. Me? Not a card? Hey, miracles happen! I thought of this and this and instantly thought I could make a treat bag for my son, and super easy to mass produce for parties by just changing out the sentiment…
I stamped the adorable anchor image strip in various Hero Arts shadow inks across the adorable windowed treat bag (Etsy)… The planes were die cut using my Cuttlebug and I just smooshed some distress inks down on my craft sheet and rubbed the planes around until I got the design/color I wanted. The banner was created with THIS new banner die cut (comes with coordinating stamp set)…
Goodies for this card:
And second, I made a shaped type card using this die cut. I am loving it… I die cut one side of the card and then got to thinking, what would it look like if I did the exact thing to the other side? And I LOVE how it looks! Love! And it stands up on it’s own just perfectly. How cute are those little envelopes! Cute AND easy thanks to this die. Using 3 of my favorite color distress inks, I inked up this stencil over the mini envelopes, folded and voila, a cute unique pattern. Simply move your stencil around and you can get a different look with each envelope. Pop them up with some foam dimension and you’ve got yourself a cute and quick and easy card…
Goodies for this card:
Thanks so much for visiting my blog on the hop! The next stop is the fabulous and sweet Cheiron
