Hey there! Here today with a super quick post/video showing you how I created this card by stamping with water! Yup, water….. They key to this technique is distress inks and in this case, I used one of the Distress Ink Custom Blend DIY ink pads that I created in this video! See those fireworks???? OOOH! So pretty! It’s the Pyrotechnics stamp set from The Ton! It just sold out last night, but I’ve been assured they already have their restock order in so you can expect it back by the end of this month… I knew that baby was gonna sell out fast so I got my hands on that one STAT.
To stamp the background, I simply sprayed the stamp with water and stamped! Yup, it’s just that simple. Remember, for this technique to work well, use distress inks! 🙂 A few of the images I re-stamped with one of the distress ink colors used on the background to create a cool shadow. Added a few flicks of perfect pearls and some gold texture spray and done! But enough gabbing. It’s video time!
You can watch the video here on my blog but even better, over on my youtube channel in HD and with more video links!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! 🙂
