Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils: Butterfly

The Spectrum Noir pencils are truly amazing. They are creamy and the tips don’t break easily like some other pencils. They blend beautifully. And they come in an array of colors. AND, yea not done, they come in these gorgeous tins….  They also have a blending solution and a blender pencil. Jennifer McGuire used them in this video.

Today, I stumbled upon a unique way to use them to create this tie dye type look on the butterfly from this set by Sheena and these colors: 022,020, 039, 042, 071, 014. I want to film a video on how I did this and plan too. IF my daughter will allow me, lol! Teething. Need I say more?

I used this amazing woodgrain cardstock from Simon Says Stamp as my card base! I spritzed it with this Dandelion spray from Fireworks.  So fun! I love this set and the pencils!
