Many of you are aware of the current kindness challenge/campaign hosted by Jennifer Mcguire! If you aren’t, be sure to check out the week one’s challenge by clicking HERE. Each week is a new theme inspiring you to create something handmade and share it with someone… Spread kindness… I am glad she launched this campaign because I definitely needed that extra push! I have tons of cards filed away that I should have popped in the mail. One act of kindness can turn someone’s day around. And it doesn’t have to be a handmade card. I simple kind word to someone is all it could take! I tell my son – Kindness is free! So just do it! Just be kind. Period… 🙂
I was honored to receive one of Jennifer’s kindness packages in the mail this week and I couldn’t wait to play with some of the contents! I used the Acts of Kindness stamp set from the kindness box to create this simple, sparkly watercolored card! Added a wash of gold watercoloring, flicks of black texture spray and a backing of gold glitter, and voila!
See the sparkle?
That awesome stamp sets (there are two) were created by Hero Arts and a percentage of the sales of the two stamps created for this campaign (Acts of Kindness clear set and the A Bit of Kindness rubber stamp), will be donated to the Kind Campaign.
GIVEAWAY: Both sets are available RIGHT NOW at Ellen Hutson (click HERE). But I have the one I used in todays card to give away to one of you! I signed up for the “notify when in stock” feature over at Ellen Hutson and the moment I got the email, I ran and got one so I could give it away on my blog!
