Today’s card is completely not my style, but I wanted to go with something that is out there!!! I took the fabulous bike image from Practicing Creativity’s The Whole Cycle and combined some paper piecing with some fun October Afternoon paper and Copics. I took the background layers and flipped them so the words were going vertically. It seemed to just go with the multi colored bike image… I love the sentiment. That’s from October Afternoon’s Comic Bubble stamp set. It just seemed fitting for this bright colored card….. I can picture a cute kid riding around on this bike, or a clown!! HA! I used one of Courtney’s sketches and the current Color Throwdown challenge for this project. Have a great day!
Stamps: The Whole Cycle, Comic Bubbles; Ink: PTI Dark chocolate, Tim Holtz Distress Inks; Copic markers; Gel pen; Spellbinder Nestabilities; October Afternoon patterned Paper
Super cute idea! Love the striped bike and so impressed that it was paper pieced!
Wow, that is some DETAILED paper-piecing! You must have steady hands and a ton of patience! Very cute card… thanks for joining us for the Color Throwdown!
