So Matcha: Scene cards

By Laurel on March 6, 2018

I’m back as promised with some “scene” cards using the Kimono Girls from the So Matcha stamp set and coordinating dies the latest of the Essentials by Ellen Release, designed by my favorite Julie Ebersole. I created a couple of scene cards.

For my first card, I stamped and heat embossed all the images using the Brutus Monroe Raven embossing powder and then colored them with the Altenew Artist Markers.

Added a bit of patterned paper to create the “floor” and also a little black/white striped border to finish off the card. The Lucky cat… HAHAHAHAHAHA!

My second card, I created an ink blended masked oval (this Oval Simple Blend mask is brilliant) and created a border using an image from the same stamp set.

I loosely stamped some of the florals within the masked image and heat embossed with two shades of the new Brutus Monroe embossing powder colors.

HE HE! Aren’t they cute? My favorite Kimono girl is the one with the buns…. OH!!! You can use some of the small floral images to decorate the Kimonos and tea cups too! They fit perfectly!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Tomorrow I’ll be back with a SUPER FUN BLOG HOP with giveaways and prizes! And a DIY CHAIR! So I hope you’ll stop back by!
