Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Thanksgiving/Thank You

Hi everyone. Happy Wednesday and welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Challenge! Today’s challenge is all about giving thanks and Thanksgiving. With the upcoming holiday in the United States next week, perfect timing if I do say so… I decided to make a “thank you” treat basket instead of a traditional Thanksgiving Card…. The shape was cut with my Silhouette Cameo and I used the fabulous Newspaper Background stamp on the apple and the banner/sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp exclusive stamp/die line (all supplies listed at the end of this post).. Combine those with yummy distress inks (the seasonal colors which are now  individually sold, yea) and you’ve got a really cute and easy to make treat basket! Fill it with candies and you are good to go. I used my uni-ball white gel pen on the stem for a little added design.
