Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Summer fruits

By Laurel on June 19, 2013

Greetings and salutations (yes, I watched Charlotte’s Web recently)… I hope this post finds you all happy. I’m back with another Simon Says weekly challenge and this week’s theme is all about summer fruits. Yummy delicious fruits. What is your favorite fruit? I love cantaloupe and strawberries!!! Since I don’t have a cantaloupe stamp, strawberries it is. Lots of strawberries. Thanks to the Lawn Fawn coordinating die cuts, it made this card much more easier to make. The Design Team is using American Crafts products and i chose to use this adorable patterned paper pad called Hip Hip Horray.

I adore the patterned paper, So bright and fun….. So the sentiment was perfect for the card! I added some glossy accents to the strawberries to make them look more lifelike! And I used the negative space from the patterned paper and popped up the fruit jar with dimension.
