Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Something NEW

By Laurel on January 1, 2014

Hi there folks and Happy New Year! I can not believe it is 2014 and I can believe I slept right thru the ball dropping. Staying up late is not one of my strong suits……

We’re back today with another fun challenge. SOMETHING NEW! New house, new birth, new job….. New year! 🙂 The design team is showcasing Memory Box items and I broke up this fun Alpha die set I have had for ages and paired it up with a gorgeous stencil and embossing paste and powder.

I popped that top layer up with loads of foam dimension so the fun pattern from the washi tape underneath the die cut letters would show thru!

I used some embossing paste with the heart stencil and then covered it with two colors of zing embossing powder to get that wonderfully textured background! Delicious.

The amazing folks at Simon Says Stamp have an amazing prize to win! A $50 gift certificate to their online store! Be sure to head on over to the challenge blog and check out the rest of the AMAZING creations by the design team.
