Simon Says Stamp Challenge: CHRISTMAS

Hello! Greetings! Salutations (just watched Charlotte’s Web)….. Happy Wednesday to you all. I am in a great mood! Heard from the doc that I do NOT have gestational diabetes so I am one happy camper! Today we have a fun challenge in store for you all.. Christmas!!!! I had a few last minute Christmas cards to make to go with some gifts so this challenge was perfect timing for me!!!!! The design team is working with the amazing exclusive Simon Says Stamps products! I have a ton of them. The dies, the stamps… They are fantastic and I highly recommend. Today I am working with this cute stamp, which is a great stamp to have and at a very inexpensive price.

I colored the adorable images with Inktense water color pencils (video here)! I added colors one on top of the other and created a fur like texture by adding lots and lots of water to my paper almost to the point where it started to pill. Then I wiped away the excess with my finger and really love the look I got with it.

I added a little bit of texture with these cools pens that my friend Deasy sent me… Popped everything up with dimension onto that gorgeous stamped background stamped with Hero Arts shadow ink…  Added some black enamel to the eyes, which I love to do. It really makes the stamped image pop!
