Simon Says Stamp Challenge: ANYTHING GOES using Simon Says Stamp DIES

By Laurel on July 25, 2012

Hi there everyone! Welcome to another Simon Says Stamp Challenge! This week’s theme is ANYTHING GOES! So get crafty and play along with us! The Design Team worked the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Dies! Have you seen them? Unless you live under a rock, surely you have. And they are amazing! I have made quite a few cards using them! Here’s what I made for today’s challenge using two of the exclusive dies, Bella Bloom and Oh Happy Day! My complete supply list is at the end of this post! I just realized I did not use one stamp on this project, he he he!

I used lots of distress inks on this project. The bloom was created using the Summer Seasonal Distress Ink pack, my favorite of all the limited editions! I sprayed it heavily with Perfect Pearls and layered it by using foam dimension. It really does shine in person….

The sentiment was created by using some micro fine glitter, double sided tape paper and two colors of purple copics! I saw Jennifer McGuire do this technique not long ago.

The wonderful Heidi is offering up a $50 gift certificate to the Simon Says Stamp online store!!!!!! HELLO!!!!!! That’s awesome!!!

Be sure to head on over the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog and take a look at the rest of the design team inspiration. Be prepared to have your socks blown off!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!! :)

So pretty, Laurel! Love those inks together, and all the glitter/shine must be just AMAZING in person. 🙂
