Who doesn’t love a shimmery background???? I know I do and using the Nuvo Shimmer Powders are just what you need to easily make them. The January Hedgehog Hollow box was full of Hedgehog Hollow exclusive stamps. Normally I gravitate towards background stamps because, well, I’m lazy and it’s just easy to stamp and go. One of the sets in this box was full of geometric shapes that you can build your own background and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I stamped the images with Nuvo Embossing Ink and then heat set with Nuvo white embossing powder.

Then, then shimmer… I paired Catherine Wheel Shimmer Powder and Solar Flare Shimmer Powder together and just look. Ooooohhhhh, Ahhhhhhhh (which is what I did at my Tonic Demos at Creativation – I would demo and then say now everyone say ooooohhhhh, ahhhhhhhhh and they did, lol)… I just flicked on some powder by tapping the bottom of the bottle and then added some water and voila! Instant shimmer against a beautiful geometrical background. The cute little unicorns and sentiment are also included in the January box.
So there you have it. Ooooohhhhh. Ahhhhhhhh… LOL!!!
