COPICS Distress Inks Ellen Hutson Heat Embossing

September Essentials by Ellen Release Blog Hop

It’s Ellen Hutson release time and this release is all about the holidays!!! We are celebrating with a 3 day blog hop and today is day 2!!! You should have hopped over to me from Kittie’s blog (how awesome is that Concertina Tags Die).

I was asked to create something using the No Peeking stamp set, which is comprised with loads of fun, large sentiments. She also incorporated sentiments to create tags!  I’ll attach photos of all the stamp sets I used today (there are also coordinating dies for most all sets but I didn’t use any dies today).

I challenged myself to pair one of the large sentiments with some of the smaller images from ALL of the other stamp sets in the release. At first I thought it was to busy, but then it grew on me!

If you look carefully on the red base, you’ll see No Peeking peeking out the border…… I went around the edges of the white card base with a very light touch of Tumbled Glass distress ink. I colored all the images with Copics.

Here is a look at the sets I used on today’s cards. Click on the photo to be taken to the product in the shop. Remember, these sets do come with coordinating dies as well (except for the sentiment set).

I am the last stop on the hop today! Tomorrow we have one more day of project inspiration from this release… You can always start hopping in the CLASSroom each day!
