Yup, did you know? Reverse Confetti hosts a color challenge every month to kick start your color inspiration!!!! I’m here today to share with you the card I made inspired by the challenge. Here’s a look.
Lots of technique here… I used the Triangles die cut and used it as a stencil. I put a whole bunch of crackle embossing paste over the top of the stencil/die cut until the entire panel was covered (moved the stencil around) and allowed to dry! I LOVE THAT CRACKLE look. I think it is the coolest thing ever!!! I went over the top of the panel with Tim Holtz distress inks which really made the crackled stencil pop more!!!! And then, I flicked some water over the top to create those water splatters. This can only work with distress inks because distress inks are formulated to react with water….. See the waves along the top? It’s from this die! LOVE IT! It could be water waves, hilltops.. Very versatile. The distress inks color I am working with today are perfect for the color challenge…. Pumice Stone, Picked Raspberry and Scattered Straw… To finsih off the card, I used the Give Thanks Dies and stamped the sentiment from this stamp set and adhered with foam dimension, after putting a little yellow/gold floss behind the back….
Thanks so much for popping by today!!!
