Rainbow Foiled die cut Hello

By Laurel on April 30, 2016

Howdy everyone! Happy weekend to you all!!!!! Oh oh, I guess I should say HELLO, not howdy! Because that’s what my card says, lolololol! One day, I was in a foiling mood so I foiled the mess out of some stuff, lololol! 🙂 This card came together very quickly because I had like a billion foiled images to choose from to pull it together!

To create the rainbow foiled florals, I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Petal Cut Peonies stand alone die set from some Toner Paper. I just discovered they also have this toner paper with an adhesive back but you on get 2 sheets instead of 3. After the die cuts were cut, I simply adhered my rainbow foil paper over the top of my die cuts pretty side up and rain it thru my Mini Minc machine.

Before adhering everything down, you see that background? I created a stencil by die cutting the Geometric Lattice coverplate onto card stock and then used that piece as a stencil by blending some distress ink thru the piece with some Clarity Stencil Brushes.  If you are interested in learning more about the Clarity Stencil brushes, I have a blog post HERE and a video using them HERE! You can also see the Geometric Lattice Coverplate in action in the video as well where I used it as a stencil also! I’ll link the video at the end of this as well so you can watch the video here on the blog if you want.

To finish off the card, I adhered the foiled flowers and leaves in the center of my card and created my own sparkle HELLO die cut by die cutting the Brushscript Hello die from Ellen Hutson, smooshing on some Versamark Ink onto the die cut and sprinkling one some Black Sparkle Embossing powder and heat setting. I finished off the card with a stripe of black glitter tape! I love THIS one because it already has the adhesive on the back AND the glitter doesn’t come off on your fingers! Double score!

So there you have it. Some rainbow foiled florals…. 🙂 I’ll be back on Monday for my card for the next Lawnscaping Challenge. I made my very first interactive card (GULP) and was silly enough to film my attempt!!! I hope to see you back here! Have a great rest of the weekend!!!!! Here is a link to the video using the Clarity Stencil brushes!!!

I am so heavy handed with distress sponges that I must try these brushes. Thanks for the chance to win a set. I enjoy you, your videos and periscopes.
