Coloring on vellum can be very tricky! Vellum is a lighter weight than traditional card stock and its translucent so usually you can see the glue that you use. I found a way to color vellum beautifully AND adhere it without the glue showing!!! I’m using the best vellum ever, 40 pound. Every product I used today is linked in the supply list below!
I made this video several months ago and haven’t shared it yet, shame on me! You can watch the video here or over on my youtube video in HD by clicking HERE!
A couple of still shots before you go!
It’s amazing how the embellishment mousse colored the vellum and how you can’t see the glue at all!
Beautiful, great tips
So nice to see (or should I say, hear you) again! Thanks for the tips!
Stunning card, Laurel! You just can’t go wrong with the Mondo Hydrangea and using the Mousse on the backside of it makes everything look gorgeous and streak-free, which has always been my problem. Thanks for sharing this and the Glue Dot tip. Have a wonderful weekend. ~HUGS~

Thank you, Laurel! Your tutorial makes it look so easy and I need easy! I haven’t used my Nuvo mousse much and wow, what an effect! Love it — many thanks ♥
Beautiful!
That was so helpful! Thank you! I just happen to have some mousse!
Thank you so much for those tips Laurel! I like how you just sound so “real”. Does that make sense?
