Quick card using masking, distress ink, heat embossing and perfect pearls

By Laurel on November 23, 2011

Hi there!!! I just wanted to pop in a share a very quick card I made ions ago and just never got around to posting it….. I masked the HA stamp, stamped the images in versamark and heat embossed in black! I then applied a heavy coat of distress inks and then using my flicking technique, I just flicked some perfect pearls over the top! Super quick, super easy…..

Today begins the start of the Thanksgiving Holiday! My son has a “weather day” today, off tomorrow and Friday for Thanksgiving, and then another “weather day” on Monday! Weather days. I don’t think I had those growing up!!! 🙂

What on earth is a weather day? I mean we have snow days, when it actually snows but never heard of a weather day. Great card, love all the bright red!

I grew up in Florida, and I don’t remember weather days! But I sure wish we had them! Ha ha! Either way, it sounds like you’ll have some extra free time with Lucas! So that’s good!
Oh right, can’t forget to say in adore you’re card! I love that you can use it for any occasion too!

Gorgeous card! Growing up in Chicago we had MANY weather days, but not this early in the season.
Hope you and your family have a marvelous Thanksgiving! ;o)
